Déminable

Minesweeper rules

Minesweeper is played on a grid of hidden cells. Some of them hide a mine. The goal: open every safe cell.

The numbers

An open cell shows how many mines are among its eight neighbors (diagonals included). A cell with no number has no mines around it: its neighbors open on their own.

Dig and flag

Tap a cell to dig it. Long-press (or right-click) to place a flag on it when you're sure it hides a mine. The counter at the top right shows how many mines are left.

Open around

When a number has as many flags around it as its value, tap it: all its other neighbors open at once. Watch out for misplaced flags.

No luck involved

On Déminable, every board can be solved by deduction from the starting area, which is already open. If you have to guess, you've missed a deduction.

Patterns to know

The 1-2-1 pattern along a row of hidden cells: the mines are under the 1s. The 1-2-2-1 pattern: under the 2s. A 1 that touches only two cells, one of which also touches another satisfied 1: the other cell is the mine. Near the end of the game, the number of mines left helps you decide.
